How it works

Buy credits, sell tickets, and top up when you need to.

01

Buy credits

Pick a pack from your dashboard, or choose any amount from 100 credits. The bigger the pack, the less you pay per ticket.

02

Sell as usual

Each paid ticket uses one credit — online, with Tap to Pay, at the door for cash, or when you add an order from your dashboard.

03

Never run dry

Turn on automatic top-ups, and we'll email you when your balance runs low so your sales never miss a beat.

Pay ahead, pay less

A lower fee on every paid ticket, with nothing to manage.

As low as 29¢ per ticket

Credits start at $0.39 and drop to $0.29 per ticket on larger packs. The more you buy, the less each ticket costs you.

Absorb it or pass it on

Cover the fee yourself, or pass it on to buyers as usual. When buyers pay it, the fee goes to you, because your credits already paid TixFox.

Credits never expire

Buy once and use them whenever you sell — next week or next year. Your balance stays put between events.

Automatic top-ups

Set a level and we'll top up your balance automatically when it drops below it. Change or cancel any time.

Low-balance alerts

We email you when you're down to your last 25 credits, so you always have time to top up before your next sale.

One balance, every sale

Online checkout, Tap to Pay, cash at the door, and orders you add yourself all draw from the same balance in your dashboard.

Common questions

How much do credits cost?

Credits start at $0.39 each and drop to $0.29 each on the 5,000-credit pack. You can also buy any amount from 100 credits at $0.39 each. Credits are priced in US dollars.

How many credits does a ticket use?

One credit per paid ticket. Free tickets are always free and never use credits.

Do my buyers still pay a fee?

That's your choice, just like today. Tickets where you cover the fee show buyers no TixFox fee. Tickets where you pass fees on still charge buyers the usual fee, and that money goes to you, because your credits already paid TixFox.

Is there still a card processing fee?

Yes. Credits replace the TixFox fee only. The card processing fee from Stripe still applies to card payments, just as it does today.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Online and Tap to Pay sales keep going with the standard TixFox fee until you top up. Cash sales and orders you add from your dashboard need credits, so turn on automatic top-ups to stay covered.

Can I get a refund for unused credits?

No. Credits are non-refundable, can't be transferred, and aren't returned once used. They never expire, though, so you can use them whenever you sell tickets.
