How it works

Buy a ticket, get a ticket. Instantly.

01

Buyer completes checkout

The moment the payment goes through, TixFox generates a unique ticket and fires off the confirmation email.

02

Ticket lands in their inbox

The email contains the event name, date, venue, ticket type, and a QR code. Everything in one place.

03

They show up, you scan

At the door, they pull up the email or screenshot. Your team scans the QR code and lets them in. Done.

What's included

Everything a ticket needs to be useful at the door.

Sent on purchase

No delay, no manual step. The ticket email goes out the second the transaction completes.

Unique QR code per ticket

Each ticket has its own code. Once scanned, it can't be used again — so no one walks in twice on the same ticket.

No app required

Attendees just need the email on their phone. Screenshot it, print it, or keep it in their inbox — all work fine.

Fraud-resistant

Tickets are tied to the order, not the email address. Screenshots and forwarded emails all scan to the same record.

Apple & Google Wallet

Attendees can save their ticket straight to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — always one tap away, even without the email.

Works for every ticket type

Free tickets, paid tickets, pay-what-you-can — every buyer gets the same clean ticket email regardless of price.

Common questions

How does the buyer receive their ticket?

Immediately after purchase, TixFox sends a confirmation email with the event details and a QR code. No app needed — they just show the email at the door.

Can someone screenshot or forward the ticket?

Yes, but the QR code is single-use. Once scanned at entry, it can't be used again — so forwarding it doesn't let two people in.

Do free event tickets also get an e-ticket email?

Yes. Every ticket buyer — paid or free — receives the same ticket email with a unique QR code.

What if an attendee loses the email?

They can search their inbox for the TixFox confirmation email. You can also look them up by name in your attendee list and verify entry manually.
