Private Events

Your event,
only for the right eyes

Lock any event behind a passcode. Guests without it land on a blank gate — no event details, no ticket prices, no way in. Share the code only with people you want there.

  • Passcode-gated checkout
  • Two protection levels
  • Full ticketing included

Private Event

Enter the passcode to view details and purchase tickets.

Passcode protected
Full page or checkout only

How it works

Three steps, fully locked down.

01

Create your event

Set up your event as usual — title, date, venue, ticket types, and pricing. Nothing different here.

02

Enable private mode

Go to Checkout Settings, enter your passcode, and choose your protection level. Save — the event is immediately locked.

03

Share with your guests

Send the event URL and access code directly to your guest list. Only they can view the details and buy tickets.

What private mode includes

Everything you need to run an invite-only event without compromise.

Access code gate

Set a custom code on any event. Visitors can't see the event page or buy tickets without entering it first.

Two protection levels

Protect the entire event page — details and tickets both gated — or just the ticket selection, keeping event info visible but requiring a passcode to purchase.

Direct link sharing

Share the event URL and code straight to your guest list via email, SMS, or any channel you already use.

Duplicate-proof entry

Every ticket gets a unique QR code. The scanner app flags duplicates and invalid codes at the door.

Full guest management

See who bought tickets, check them in on the day, and export your attendee list — same as any public event.

All ticket types supported

Paid, free, tiered, and add-ons all work under private mode. No restrictions on how you structure your tickets.

Common questions

Can I still collect payments for a private event?

Yes. Private events use the same checkout and Stripe payouts as public events. The access code only controls who can view the page.

What happens if someone finds the event URL without the passcode?

They'll land on a locked page with no event details and no way to buy tickets. The passcode is required to unlock any content.

Can I make an event public again after setting it to private?

Yes. You can switch an event between private and public at any time from your event settings.
