How to connect Stripe to get paid

To get paid for tickets, connect a Stripe account to TixFox. Go to Settings, open Payment Method, click Add Payment Method, then Connect next to Stripe Connect. Ticket money goes straight into your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays it out to your bank. Free events don't need Stripe.

Connect Stripe

Go to Settings and open the Payment Method tab. If you haven't connected anything yet, you can also click the Connect Stripe card in the sidebar.
Click Add Payment Method.
Next to Stripe Connect, click Connect.
Stripe asks for your email. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in with the same email. If not, Stripe walks you through creating one, including your business details and the bank account it pays out to.
When you finish, Stripe sends you back to TixFox.

Check that it's connected

Your Stripe account appears under Connected Accounts, with a green check next to Stripe Connect and the date it was verified.

How the money reaches you

Each paid order goes into your Stripe balance as it happens. TixFox takes its fee from the order, and the rest is yours.
Stripe then pays it out to your bank on your payout schedule. Your very first payout on a new Stripe account usually takes 7 to 14 days, so connect early.
Refunds come out of the same Stripe account, so keep some money in it if refunds are likely.
