TixFox Reviews 2026: Low Fees, Rich Features, Real Support

Updated October 2026: reviews, pricing and features checked on October 9, 2026.

Is TixFox legit? Yes. TixFox is an online ticketing platform from TixFox LLC. Its reviews on Trustpilot and G2 are five stars across the board, and organizers keep coming back to the same three things: the lowest fees they've found, a long list of features, and support that answers fast. TixFox charges 39¢ per paid ticket plus Stripe's card fee, sends every sale straight to the organizer's own Stripe account, and is free for free events.

Here's what organizers say about TixFox in their own words, with a link to each review, plus what it costs, what's included and how it handles your money.

What organizers say about TixFox

TixFox runs ticketing for events of every size. The Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention, the longest-running tattoo convention in the world, sells its tickets on TixFox for three days and more than 3,500 attendees, with tickets from day passes up to a $725 VIP package.

Sam Dakart handles marketing for the convention. In a five-star review on Trustpilot, Sam wrote: "I've worked with a handful of other ticketing platforms, and this one has been the best for our needs. It's got all the core features you need, and they are always adding more."

Three five-star Trustpilot reviews of TixFox. Sam Dakart of the Richmond Tattoo & Arts Convention: TixFox is amazing, the fees are by far the lowest I've come across, and UTM tracking shows where every sale comes from. Modesto Gospel Mission: a great ticketing platform with excellent customer support. Alissa Turner: John from support fixed a checkout issue quickly

The fees

Low fees come up again and again. Sam's review says "the fees they take are by far the lowest I've come across, giving our attendees more buying power to get our pricier ticket options." On G2, a marketing director, Sam D., wrote in a five-star review in August 2026: "The fees on TixFox are way lower, and their customer support is top-notch."

The features, and new ones on request

Organizers point to the tools they use every day, and to how quickly TixFox builds what they ask for. Sydney Finley wrote on Trustpilot that "Tixfox is a great company and very responsive to adding new features! They've been a great addition to our event."

The Richmond team's favorite is revenue tracking. "The very best part is the super easy revenue source tracking," Sam wrote. "You can use UTM codes to track all of your clicks and sales." In the convention's customer story, Sam adds that the team has asked for "at least five features," and TixFox "implemented all of them, and surprisingly quickly."

The support

When something needs fixing, organizers say a person answers. The Modesto Gospel Mission wrote on Trustpilot that TixFox's "customer support is excellent - very responsive, helpful, and quick to resolve issues." Alissa Turner wrote that when guests had trouble finishing their purchase, "John was very helpful and corrected the issue quickly." Jo put it simply: "John was spectacular about answering all of my questions."

Ticket buyers say the same. Christine Lynch, who bought a ticket, wrote that when a payment wasn't confirmed, "A member of Tixfox responded immediately," and resolved it, "leaving me with peace of mind."

How much does TixFox cost?

TixFox charges 39¢ per paid ticket ($0.30 for tickets under $5), plus Stripe's card processing of 2.9% + 30¢ per order in the US. There's no monthly fee, setup fee or contract, and free events cost nothing. You choose, ticket by ticket, whether your buyers pay the fee or you absorb it.

On a $25 ticket with the fees absorbed, TixFox takes $1.42 in total, card processing included. Here's the same ticket on seven other platforms, each worked out from its own pricing page:

Fees on one $25 ticket in the US with the fees absorbed, card processing included. Eventbrite $3.45, Humanitix $2.54, SimpleTix $2.32, Luma free plan $2.28, TicketLeap $2.25, TicketSpice $2.02, Ticket Tailor $1.88, TixFox $1.42

We've broken down each one in detail: Eventbrite, Humanitix, SimpleTix, Luma, TicketLeap, TicketSpice and Ticket Tailor. On a 200-ticket show at $30, with the fees passed to buyers and one ticket per order, buyers pay $448 less in fees on TixFox than on Eventbrite.

TixFox also sells in many currencies, including US, Canadian and Australian dollars, euros, pounds and Swedish and Norwegian kronor.

What's included for 39¢

Every feature comes with every event. There are no plans, tiers or add-on fees, and the pricing page lists "All Features," "Priority Customer Support" and "Unlimited Events" for everyone.

What organizers get on TixFox for 39¢ a ticket. Selling: unlimited ticket tiers, add-ons, donations, pay what you can, recurring events. Promotions: discount codes, BOGO offers, private events. Marketing: UTM revenue tracking, tracking pixels, automated reminders. Your brand: custom theme, checkout questions, website embeds. At the door: check-in app, Tap to Pay, check-in assistants. Getting paid: straight into your own Stripe account. Teams and tools: team roles, duplicate events, Zapier

What events use TixFox?

TixFox is built for any event that sells tickets: festivals and music festivals, conventions and fan events, fairs and expos, theater, comedy, museums, zoos and aquariums, waterparks, haunted attractions, tours, speedways, food and wine events, nonprofit fundraisers and class reunions.

Multi-day events like the Richmond convention use ticket tiers, VIP packages and UTM tracking. Attractions and tours use recurring events, where buyers pick a date and time from a calendar. Fundraisers use donations at checkout and pay what you can. See the festival, theater, zoo and aquarium and nonprofit pages for examples.

How TixFox handles your money

TixFox uses Stripe Connect, so every sale goes straight into your own Stripe account as it happens. TixFox never holds your money. You move it to your bank on your own schedule, and refunds go through your Stripe account too.

Card details are handled by Stripe, which is certified PCI-DSS Level 1, and TixFox never stores full card numbers. Because the money is already yours, you can pay a venue deposit or a supplier before your event, instead of waiting for a payout after it.
